I'm Lois, an unschooling , world schooling, Speech and Language Therapist. (UK Registered).
Parent's often tell me how worried they are that their child's speech and language skills aren't developing at the same rate as their friends.
They feel helpless when nothing they try seems to work. Add in the huge waiting times at the NHS and it can feel totally overwhelming.
If you are home educating it can feel even harder. Parents worry about professionals not understanding home education, criticising their choices, or stating that their child needs to be in school. Some parent's are told they can't access support at all if their child doesn't attend a school or nursery !
If this sounds like you please reach out. I am here to help ! Not only can I offer traditional assessment and therapy I am really excited to share with you my online resources for supporting speech, language and communication through daily life and play !

I also offer education coaching and support to parents who are considering Home Education or those further on in their journey who would just like an understanding space to discuss their child's learning and development. This can be particularly important if your child learns differently, is highly anxious or has a developmental "delay".
I've never been one to "fit in" and have always loved to live life outside of the usual "boxes" ! So I am always happy to help others do the same.
